It is officially the Holiday Season!
Here are some Holiday Safety Tips:
*Holiday plants like Mistletoe, holly, poinsettias, and Jerusalem Cherry plants make look nice with your holiday display, but make sure they’re kept out of reach of children and pets.
These plants can be poisonous.

*Having a holiday party or going to a Holiday party?
Alcohol poisoning is a common risk for children during the holiday party season. The little ones like to imitate adults they may try to drink abandoned partially empty cups. Make sure you’re removing empty and half empty cups as soon as possible.
*There are so many things to do during the holiday season, make sure when the kids are with you that they’re buckled up securely. Traffic accidents increase during the holidays.
*The stores can be really crowded this time of year. Make sure you have a safety plan in place with you child.
*Avoid choking hazards when buying gifts for kids by making sure you check the age limits on the packaging.
*Make sure you keep small ornaments higher up on the tree so children don’t choke on them or break them and then step on them.

*Shield the fireplace with a screen so hazardous sparks don’t fly out and it keeps kids away from the hot flames.
*Be sure to keep candles and oil burners out of reach of children and blow out candles and unplug those burners when not in use.
