Thanks to Mayor Buddy Dyer, Mayor of Orlando, Friday, May 26 has been proclaimed heat awareness day. It's such an important achievement for Baby OK… as we are trying to bring awareness to this growing problem.
Baby OK was created because of the need for not only awareness, but a solution to preventing this problem. Unfortunately, we are hearing more and more stories of this tragedy occurring all over the country and even all over the world. While Baby OK may not solve every issue we definitely can help prevent this completely avoidable problem.

The average number of children killed per year due to vehicular heat stroke death in the United States is 37 per year. So far in 2017, there have been seven deaths.
Hopefully heat awareness day will begin to shed some light on this growing issue. Until our app is live, use these helpful tips to avoid making this tragic mistake.
1- set a calendar alert on your phone for a change in your daily routine
2- if your routine changes for the day, set an alert to text or call the person driving your child within 10 minutes of their anticipated arrival time
3- leave your purse, your phone, your shoe, anything that you would need for your day in the backseat
4- put a sticky note on your radio
Do you have any other helpful tips that people can use until our app is live?
