3 Easy Steps to Amp Up YOUR Confidence!

As busy moms, we need an easy way to feel stylish and put together. Making time for ourselves seems to always be at the end of that never ending "to-do" list. The good news is that there are a few simple things we can do to get a confidence boost. Who doesn't need {or want} a confidence boost to feel good about the way we look?! I know I do and it starts with taking care of ourselves in simple, everyday things we already do.
3 Simple Steps to Amp Up YOUR Confidence
I love all things beauty and fashion, but as a mom sometimes its really hard to feel put together. Between just being plain ole tired and the never ending pile of "needs to be ironed", it feels like a chore to be put together and feel confident.
The good news is that there are a few simple things we can do to get a confidence boost, it's what we do to feel good about ourselves. It is not just the way we look, regardless of our fashion choices. It is what we do everyday and the choices we make that give us the confidence.
Over the years (and the course of new babies being added to the bunch), I've mastered a few ways to amp up my confidence and feel put together. No glam team, no fancy wardrobe, just simply ways that make me FEEL good. When I feel good, I look good too. It is choices that I make about products that I use that give me a high. I KNOW that I am using better products and safer ingredients AND that I am also impacting the world with my choices HUGE confidence boost!!
1- It all starts with good skincare
A good skincare routine is the foundation for simple make up to look flawless. My goal is good skin, natural and simple make up.
I use Beautycounter products because they are free from:
Benzalkonium chloride

My daily regimen:
Wash my face with cleansing balm {this balm is the bomb!} or the charcoal cleansing bar.
Then I use intense moisture serum.
After letting that dry, I love to slather myself in the brightening vitamin c oil. Sometimes I just use this instead of both the serum and the oil.
And lastly, eye cream and moisturizer (for day) and sleeping cream (for night)!!!
Every 3 days I use the Balancing Charcoal Mask.
Lately, I've been obsessed with the Overnight Resurfacing Peel. {OMG this is an incredible product!}
I also lather my entire body in coconut oil daily. I use Carrington Farms virgin, unrefined coconut oil. It smells amazing and absorbs quickly!

2- Have a Simple Make Up & Hair Routine
I LOVE make up. Like I am obsessed with trying new products. But a few years ago, I started doing research about the products that I was using and I was absolutely SHOCKED at what was allowed to be in my products. I made the #saferbeauty swap and could not be happier.
My 5 Minute Face:
I use the Flawless in Five for a simple everyday look.
When I feel like being fancy, I add highlighter, shadow and some eyeliner.
When I am being "extra" {can you tell I have teenagers?!}, I use a slightly darker lip and much bolder eye. {This is few and far between, the perks of being a WAHM!}

3-Wear a piece of Statement Jewelry
Jewelry can make an outfit, it can make you feel "put together", it can make a statement, and give you a boost of confidence. After all, a piece of jewelry can literally make an outfit come to life. Whether it's minimalist jewelry or a beautiful statement necklace, it can add so much to a simple outfit like jeans and a t-shirt.
I love a statement necklace or some {several} bracelets! I feel "complete" when I have jewelry on...even if my hair is in a bun on top of my head.
